Bam Bashes CKY3562 viewsRADIO BAM STATEMENT:
7/03/06 - A war of words between Bam and Jess Margera on this week's Radio Bam. Bam called out Jess and the rest of Cky for being dicks to everybody. He accused Jess of being too fat to wear tight jeans and eye makeup, to which Jess responded that he doesn't want to wear tight jeans or eye makeup and act like bands that are fags. Jess claimed the current climate of music is nothing but lame glam rock and he would rather have a career than be a flash in the pan. Bam claimed CKY are dicks to everyone and haven't sold enough records to have the attitude they do. Jess vowed to lose some weight and start wearing eye liner and blush to increase the CKY sales while at the same time starting a new form of rock called "lumberjack rock" and try to get America into that. Bam asked Jess if he thought a girl like Missy would dig "mountain rock" and Jess said CKY isn't trying to appeal to that kind of girl. Jess said he digs bands that drink beer, do drugs, and rock out. They argued over whether or not Led Zeppelin was glam or not. Jess attacked Bam for liking Good Charlotte to which Bam responded that the guys in Good Charlotte are nice people and sell records and don't deserve to be shit on by CKY. Jess said he wants to be in a career band and not another trend. Jess brought up Limp Bizkit and said while they were once huge now they couldn't even sell out 15 North. Bam said that didn't matter because Fred Durst can still wipe his ass with hundreds for the rest of his life. Jess said it's 2006 and trends shouldn't matter anymore but they do and it bums him out. He also mentioned that IDR sold 300,000 copies with no promotion which Bam said is not enough. Jess said Bam is sort of an actor and he talks shit on other actors like Ben Affleck which doesn't seem right. Bam then said CKY could have been huge but instead they are just a medium band that spends too much time arguing with each other and dissing other bands. They talked about Deron Miller, the lead singer of CKY who is now in rehab. Bam said he's a genius guitar player but such a jerk off that he turns people off. Jess talked about Fall Out Boy and how they suck at music and look like fags, but Bam said those guys are too busy making millions to give a fuck what CKY thinks. Jess said he wants to feel comfortable when he looks in the mirror and doesn't want his kid to see Dad wearing makeup. Bam said he could buy everything the band CKY has ever done and own it and still have money left over because CKY has only made mediocre money. Jess said Bam has so much money that he's unimpressed anymore and not happy. Bam said he forgot Missy's birthday and she is acting like a spoiled brat about it and trying to milk more money for her gift. Jess said his favorite beer is high in calories and Bam agreed saying his brother is growing bitch tits. Bam said the reason Jess has money is because Phil gives him money that he made. Bam said Deron and the rest of the band should just shut up and that all the guys at Jackass get a sour stomach when they hear CKY mentioned. Jess talked about how Deron lives in LA while the rest of the band lives in PA which is a problem but that all great frontmen tend to be head cases much like Axl Rose. Jess did admit that all the guys in CKY are dicks and said image shouldn't matter and you shouldn't have to dumb down your product in order to sell it. Bam said CKY only selling 800,000 copies in their career hardly stands up to HIM moving millions. Jess then said he wanted educated rock fans and not trend fans. The bottom line is that Bam hates CKY's personalities but loves their riffs. Now everyone else shut up!
