Brass knuckles earn Bam a night in jail
NEW YORK, NY, United States (UPI) -- Professional skateboarder and MTV star Bam Margera was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport for trying to bring brass knuckles on a plane.
BAM Margera was surely the only guest at Elaine's Oscar viewing party who had spent the previous night in jail.
The star of MTV's "Viva La Bam" told Page Six over dinner that he was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport on Saturday after brass knuckles were found in his luggage.
"The brass knuckles were given to me by Island/Def Jam to hang up in my studio where I do my Sirius radio show," he explained. "I threw them in my luggage and the next thing I know I'm getting handcuffed at the airport and taken to L.A. County Jail." Margera said he made bail the next morning and flew back to Pennsylvania. "My girlfriend Missy picked me up in my purple Lamborghini at about 5:30 [p.m.] and we drove straight here."
